Industrialised Building System (IBS) Professional Program

Introduction

Industrialised Building System may be defined as building systems in which structural components are manufactured in a factory, on or off site, then transported and assembled into a structure with minimal additional site works.

This 3 day course exposes participants to the methods of Industrialised Building System(IBS), the Construction Industry Standard, and the IBS project cycle from a technical, management, acquisition and purchasing in Malaysia.

Participants will also learn about the IBS Score, the IBS project acquisition process, and applications for purchasing projects.

  • Go through the process of acquiring an IBS contract with the knowledge of the types of contracts and the financing methods
  • Face the challenges of adapting IBS in Malaysia
