Defensive Riding
Introduction
This course for improving defensive riding skills is specifically for employees who transit to work by bike and employees who use the bike for official assignments. By attending this course, you will have the knowledge, handling skills and situation awareness to keep yourself and your passenger out of harm’s way.
The program offered will teach you the correct technique for riding, what to do in an emergency, road safety regulations, and technical maintenance of the motorcycle.

- To explain the main components of a motorcycle and their function. (Inspection Checklist)
- To demonstrate the correct techniques for riding a motorcycle.
- To provide a safe environment to ride the motorcycle with proper technique.
- To explain the capabilities of the motorcycle.
- To explain and list out the necessary preparations before riding. (Road Hazard Mapping)
- Minor repairs on the motorcycle.
- To explain the types of road accidents and their causes.
- To teach safe and proficient riding techniques
- To increase understanding of road safety regulations underscored by the Company, as well as JPJ and PDRM
