Introduction

The importance of safety in the work, health, and environment is utmost importance in today’s industrial standards. Significance of safety is even more crucial with a large electric utility provider as TNB.

This course provides the basic safety knowledge with regard to common rules and legislations in Malaysia. Participants will also be given awareness of specific requirements working in the power plant environment such as safety practice at power plant sites, Accident Investigation & reporting, and an overview of TNBG (Mechanical) Safety Regulations.

  • To be able to review safety procedures, and carry out accident investigation and reporting effectively

  • Practice the TNBG Electrical Safety Rules

  • TNB Generation Safety Rules (Mechanical) – Recap TT06 topics General Provisions,  Authorized Person, Competent Person, Key Safe System and Permit To Work, General Safety Precautions, Work Permit, Works on Mechanical Plants, Work in Confined Space, Handling Storing and Using of Chemical
  • Review Factories & Machinery Act 1967
  • Review the Environmental Quality Act
Day 2
  • Accident Investigation and Reporting Theory
  • Practical Audit
  • Practical Presentation and Reporting
Day 3
  • TNB Generation Safety Rules (Electrical) – High Voltage & Low Voltage Systems
  • Exam
