Overview:
The course is designed to improve participant’s knowledge about valve technology, and maintenance work related to valve. The trainers will guide and facilitate participants through examples and demonstration on physical valves at ILSAS workshop.
Participants shall be introduced to various types of valves in a typical power plant along with their respective major components and working principles. The trainer will guide participants to overhaul a parallel slide valve and some basic trouble-shooting shall be discussed.

Overview:
This course provides a comprehensive knowledge about the Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) system and battery system in power plant environment. The targeted audience of this course are power plant electrical engineers, facility engineers and technical supervisors whose jobs involve in the maintenance of UPS system.
This course covers technical details of various types of UPS and their development to meet power plant and industry needs. The course offers the comprehension of best practices related to UPS application, operation, installation and maintenance which have direct impact in reducing operational cost and machinery breakdown. At the end of this course, course participants will be able to perform preventive maintenance UPS, DC Charger and Battery system in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications.
