Overview:
This course is designed to explain the basic criteria for Bearing Technology that affects procedure and performance. Participants will be guided in reviewing the Bearing Technology according to ISO Standard & Power Plant Practice.

The training format is theory and practical, where the participants will be actively involved in the class & workshop activities. Hence, it will increase their confidence level.

Participant will be taken through the vast experience of Bearing Technology and performance by the trainers. The emphasis is on participants continuing participation in ensuring the ultimate success of the course.

Objective:
At the end of the course, participants will be able to:

1.Identify various type, design and construction of journal and thrust bearing and their application
2.Identify the material and alloy selection
3.Perform NDT Test on journal bearing (PT and UT) in accordance to ISO 4386-1 & -3
4.Perform bearing inspection and maintenance :
          i.bearing side clearance
          ii.bearing top clearance
          iii.bearing wear check
          iv.bearing contact check
          v.bearing scraping
