The course is designed to improve participant’sskillonCalibration and maintenanceof Control Drive and also basic knowledge on PID tuning in their’s working place.

The training format is on theory and practical, where the participants will be actively involved in the lab activities.

“Learning by doing” is a basic principle adopted in this training. Participant will be taken through the vast experiences of training by the trainer. The emphasis is on participants continuing participation in ensuring the ultimate success in the course.

Objective:

• Calibrate and maintain pneumatic valve actuators.
• Calibrate valve positioner.
• Troubleshoot valve system common problems.
• Describe the basic concepts of automatic control.
• Tune PID (proportional, integral, and derivative) process controller.
• Demonstrate understanding in operation of an auto control system.
• Identify and explain the basis of control actions.
