Overview:
In larger electrical power transformer, for proper voltage regulation of transformer, on load tap changer is required. As there is no permission of switching off the transformer during tap changing. The tapping arrangement, is placed in separate divertor tank attached to electrical power transformer main tank. The divertor switches have contacts operating in rapid sequence with usually four separate make and break units.

This is a four days course where-by participants will be taught on how to do maintenance on OLTC V -type and M-type.  Every participant have to involve in practical sessions and they are monitored closely by the trainer.
Objective:
After attending this course:

• Participants will be able to identify the design of OLTC such as M or V type. They will also be able to do maintenance, including repairing and installation correctly base on procedures and TNB guide lines.
