Overview:

Overview:

Primary Equipment is a major electric appliances that are seen in the electrical substation. The equipment allows electricity operated and controlled use safely. In the context of power transmission, primary equipment placed in electrical substations. Equipment operating at certain voltage levels and have specific uses in order to make the whole system is perfect and safe delivery. The most important of equipment in the system is Circuit Breaker and Power Transformer. Through 132kV high voltage can be lowered by up to 11kV or lower than that and passed on to consumers safely. In communications and electrical engineering, a transmission line is a specialized cable or other structure designed to carry alternating current of radio frequency, that is, currents with a frequency high enough that their wave nature must be taken into account.

Overview:

This two-day course will briefly review landslide processes (principally within bedrock) and focus on empirical and numerical analytical methods to evaluate and predict landslide failure behaviour. Basic engineering theory will be covered during the course although the focus will be on the practical applied aspects of rock slope design and remediation. The course also will introduce participants to soil mechanics and geotechnical engineering including geotechnical laboratory.

This course will provide practicing engineers a good insight into the importance of Slope Stability Theory, Strengthening and Repair Works. Participants will also learn to interpret site investigation data reports to ensure safety of geotechnical works and surrounding structures.

This is a 3-day instructor-led course that covers the essential principles and technologies in IT for telecommunication technology, particularly on LAN and WAN.
