Overview:
There is great concern over the greenhouse gas emissions from vehicles that contribute to global warming and transportation has become a major issue. New fuels, new cars, and new types of communities are being discussed as solutions. Gasoline-burning cars are the major contributor to global warming. In fact, they are the second largest cause of global warming pollution in the United States. It would be beneficial if the cars could be more efficient and could burn cleaner fuels, it would even be better.

“Learning by doing” is a basic principle adopted in this training. Participant will be taken through the vast experience of training by the trainers. The emphasis is on participants continuing participation in ensuring the ultimate success of the course.
Objective:
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Describe different modes of green transportation
  • Identify CO2, SOx, NOx, emissions in relation to vehicle and fuel type
  • Assess optimum transport mode based on travel characteristics (load, frequency and distance)
  • Identify solutions on route rationalization, fleet management and fuel management

Overview:
Everyone knows that a “green building” is not about the color of the paint, but no single definition exists to define exactly what makes a building green. There are, however, common themes to almost all definitions of green buildings, all of which relate to the building’s ability to provide a comfortable and productive space, while minimizing environmental impact throughout the entire life cycle.

Overview:
One of the tools provided by GPMS II Project.

•  SLA-MaT is a web application.
•  The main objective of SLA-MaT is to meet PPA requirements.
•  It is not fully auto generated yet, but the system provides a standardized platform  to record and organize data.
•  It shall be used by all stations in Generation Division.
Objective:
At  the  end  of  the  lesson,  the  trainees  will  be  able  to  perform  work independently using each module below:

At the end of the course, participants will be  able to use SLA-MAT for Outage Planning, ACP and Plant Status without error.
