Objective of Power Distribution System is to deliver the electrical power to customers in safe, reliable and most economical way. Several parameters of electricity supply such as frequency, continuity of supply, voltage level etc. should be within allowable limits to ensure that customer obtains satisfactory performance for his electrical equipment while ensuring that the demands of the customers are met continuously.
This course is to educate and experience sharing on Distributed Generation concepts, designs and connections into TNB’s distribution network. It will details out the general impacts of distributed generation connection, benefits and disadvantage of it .
Upon completion of the lesson, trainees will be able to:
· To educate participants and experience sharing on Distributed Generation concepts, designs and connections into TNB’s distribution network.
· To align the design, connection process and interconnection operations of Distributed Generation
with prevailing rules and regulations.

Instrument transformers are high accuracy class electrical devices used to isolate or transform voltage or current levels. The most common usage of instrument transformers is to operate instruments or metering from high voltage or high current circuits, safely isolating secondary control circuitry from the high voltages or currents.
The primary winding of the transformer is connected to the high voltage or high current circuit, and the meter or relay is connected to the secondary circuit.
The Participants will be taught on how to operate and do maintenance on the equipments, such as Current Transformer and Capacitive Voltage Transformer.
This two-day course will briefly emphasize applications and sensors for the Geotechnical and Structural monitoring market. There will be a different sensor types for measuring the various physical phenomena critical to these markets.
This course will provide practicing engineers / technicians a good insight into the importance of Slope Real Time Monitoring and Early Warning System. Participants will also learn Methods of Kinematic and Stability Analysis and also Methods of Rainfall Analysis.
After attending this training program, participants will be able to:
