Its consists of Introduction to troubleshooting; What is troubleshooting?; Recognizing and describing problems; Identifying possible causes and establishing true cause; Establish corrective actions to eliminate problems; Separating multiple problems and prioritizing.

Participant will be taken through the vast experience of this course. The emphasis is on participants continuing participation in ensuring the ultimate success of the courses.

Overview:
It is a topic on 300MW coal fired power plant simulation course; identifying the panel familiarization and intervene seven abnormal situations through simulator by proper report writing.
Objective:
Terminal Objective:

With the simulator, participant will be able to diagnose, interpret and take corrective actions systematically by using 300MW Coal Simulator according to KEV GF2 operating procedure without mistake.

Course Objectives:

At the end of the course, participants will be able to :

  • Identify and solve problems systematically by using simulator 300MW (coal) without mistake
  • Identify the malfunction triggered through the appeared alarms and write a proper and systematic report writing
  • Correlate the importance of critical situations on step sequence and flow of systems

Overview:
This course offers for participants to apply troubleshooting search strategies to several different problem scenarios and effectively identify a mulfunction. Its consists of introduction to troubleshooting;  problems identification and causes; establishing possible causes and true cause; fixing the trouble and thinking beyond fix; solving multiple problems; CCGT plant technical specification; rankine cycle of useful work and condenser losses; P&ID for vacuum system; problem solving (case study 1-vacuum  low); P&ID for condensate system; common factor causing condenser conductivity high; problem solving (case study 2-condensate conductivity high).

Participant will be taken through the vast experience of this course. The emphasis is on participants continuing participation in ensuring the ultimate success of the courses.
