Objective of Power Distribution System is to deliver the electrical power to customers in safe, reliable and most economical way. Several parameters of electricity supply such as frequency, continuity of supply, voltage level etc. should be within allowable limits to ensure that customer obtains satisfactory performance for his electrical equipment while ensuring that the demands of the customers are met continuously. The capital and operating costs of doing so should be kept at the most optimum level, taking into account the total cost of ownership and losses in the system.
This course details out and standardizes planning methodology in TNB Distribution, which provides TNB Distribution Planners with a basic understanding of theory and practical application. We referring to the latest edition of LV Planning Guideline also introduces additional requirement to adopt the changes in technology and expansion of network.
This course to be conducted together with Introduction to MV Planning
At the end of the course, trainees will be able to:
Ø Explain Low Voltage Planning concept on TNB Distribution system.
Ø Apply Low Voltage Planning Guidelines for effective planning in distribution system based on TNB's requirement.

The course is to improve participant’s ability to do switching for supply auxiliaries to start up and shutdown the generator in power plant. The trainers will guide and facilitate the participants to do exercise with simulator, so that they can to improve their ability to do switching with no interuption.
The training format is theory and practical, whereby the participants will be actively involved in the class activities to increase their confidence level.
