Overview:
Work at Height can expose workers to serious injury if safety measures are not taken seriously. It is employer’s duty to protect everyone who might be exposed to safety risk by ensuring that any form of work at height is planned and supervised.

Climbing Monopole tower techniques is awareness to Transmission Line staff the safety procedures and techniques during climbing. All precaution whether Personal Protection Equipment and accessories thru rope are taught during this course.

This course covers all aspects related to working at height such as legislation, safety requirements and working methods. This course is mainly for TNB’s Transmission working environment.
 
Objective:
After attending this training program, participants will be able to:

• To explain the safety use of harness and all the accessories during climbing Monopole Tower in TNB Transmission Line.
• To explain safety procedure and technique during working at height and climbing Monopole tower.
• To determine the suitable equipment for work.

Overview:
This is a 3-day instructor-led course that covers the basic of SCADA (Telecontrol), cover basis component of SCADA system, Master Station, Communication, Outstation, RTU and SCS used in PMU 132KV-500KV.

The training format is theory; Participant will be taken through the vast experience of training by the trainers.  The emphasis is on participants continuing participation in ensuring the ultimate success of the workshop.
Objective:

After attending this course and participant will be able to:

1. Identify the main components of a:
     o SCADA System
     o Computer Based Substation Control System
2. Describe the role of SCADA and SCS systems
3. List the major functions of these systems
4. Distinguish between the different data types in Telecontrol; digital inputs, analog inputs etc
5. Describe how Telecontrol signals are derived and the plant interfacing between Telecontrol systems and the plant
