Overview:
This course is designed to explain the basic criteria for Scaffolding Erection (Tubular) that affects procedure and inspection. Participants will be guided in reviewing the Scaffolding Erection Tubular in accordance with the requirements of the Building Operation and Works of Engineering Construction (Safety) Regulation 1986 (BOWEC) under the Factories and Machinery Act 139 (1967).

The training format is theory and practical, where the participants will be actively involved in the class & practical activities. Hence, it will increase their confidence level.

Participant will be taken through the vast experience of Scaffolding Erection Tubular procedure and inspection by the trainers. The emphasis is on participants continuing participation in ensuring the ultimate success of the course.
Objective:
After attending this training program, participants will be able to:

  1. Know and familiar with scaffolds and appreciate the obligation to use scaffolds.
  2. Explain the requirements of the Building Operations and Works of Engineering Construction (Safety) Regulation 1986 (BOWEC) under the Factories and Machinery Act 139 (1967).
  3. Identify the hazards at the construction site.
  4. Assess the hazards and risk at the working area.
  5. Design as well as load calculation, erect and dismantle Tubular Type Scaffolds correctly and safely.

Overview:
This is a 3-day instructor-led course that covers the basic and overview of SCADA DA, cover basis component of SCADA DA system, Master Station, Communication, Outstation, RTU and SCS.
The training format is theory together with in class activities; Participant will be taken through the vast experience of training by the trainers.  The emphasis is on participants continuing participation in ensuring the ultimate success of the workshop.
Objective:
After attending this course and participant will be able to:-
1.    Identify the main components of SCADA :-
o   Remote Terminal Unit
o   Master Station
o   Communication
 
2.    Describe the role of SCADA and SCS systems
3.    List the major functions of these systems
4.    Distinguish between the different data types in Telecontrol; digital inputs, analog inputs etc
5.    Describe how Telecontrol signals are derived and the plant interfacing between Telecontrol systems and the plant
