The trainers will guide and facilitate the participants, so that they can do create project structure, create Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and plan project using network and activities. It will cover not only cover project planning process but also cover project closing process (at Project Definition level).
The training approach is theory and hands-on practical, where the participants will be actively involved in the class activities. Hence, it will increase their confidence level.
This Stakeholder Engagement workshop incorporates an advanced management simulation – full immersion experiential learning – that provides realistic scenarios in a complex project context for the participants to deal with.
It has been well documented that the difficulties associated with managing complex projects are very often “human”, as opposed to technical. Numerous research reports and project reviews point to reasons such as: lack of senior management support, bad communication between relevant parties, lack of consensus on objectives, etc., as the primary causes of project delay and failure. That ability to maximize "buy-‐in", co-‐operation and approval from key stakeholders is increasingly a critical skill for the 21st Century Project Manager.
This Integrated Change Management course combines both the topics of Change Management, the “human” perspective, as well as Change Control Management, the “integrated” approach in project management perspective.
Upon completion of this course, attendees will be able to:
• Understanding the importance of Integrated Change Control in a project environment.
• Controlling changes and managing risks in project environment.
• Dealing with the “human” aspects in any uncertain situation such as in a project environment.
