Overview:

Under the Factories & Machinery (Building Operations and Works of Engineering Construction) (Safety) Regulations 1986; for any building operation and works of engineering construction projects:
1. Main contractors are required to employ competent SSS for safety supervision within the work site.
2. Sub-contractors must employ competent Contractor’s Safety Supervisor at the place of work to keep each project safe, yet be cost effective and efficient.

The Department of Occupational Safety & Health (DOSH) has fully enforced the above-mentioned regulations since January 2012. In order to fulfill the requirements and at the same time to resolve the high demand and serious shortage of Site Safety & Health Supervisors (SSS) in the construction industry, with the blessing of DOSH, MBAM is taking a pro-active step in helping the Government to overcome the above issue by conducting the SSS training course specially tailored for the construction industry. This SSS Course is accredited and recognized by DOSH.


Objective:
At the end of the course, the participant will be able to:

•Describe the OSH legislative requirements pertaining to construction site
•Conduct the risk management at the workplace
•Elaborate OSH requirements for site management
•Be a competent Site Safety Supervisor (SSS)

Overview:

Site investigation is the study of the local environment and ground conditions on and around a specific piece of land. This is used to ascertain the suitability of a site for a proposed building project:

• The condition & strength of the soil
• Details of any man-made or natural hazards present on the site
• The economic viability of the site

This course will provide practicing engineers a good insight into the importance of geotechnical site investigation and its processes. Participants will also learn to interpret soil investigation reports to ensure safety of geotechnical works and surrounding structures.


Objective:
After attending this training program, participants will be able to:

• Practice a good insight into the importance of geotechnical site investigation and its processes
• Interpret site soil investigation report
• Determine particular considerations for specific geotechnical works

Overview:
Kursus selama 3 hari ini adalah bertujuan memberi pendedahan berkenaan rekabentuk  SCADA yang digunakan di dalam bahagian pembahagian TNB.
Kursus ini meliputi fungsi dan peranan Data komunikasi, peralatan SCADA yang meliputi RTU/SCS dan protocol komunikasi SCADA yang digunakan oleh pembahagian TNB.
Format latihan adalah secara teori & Praktikal di mana para peserta akan terlibat secara aktif dalam aktiviti-aktiviti kelas.
