Overview:
This course is primarily designed to provide the necessary technical knowledge and skills required to effectively supervise and monitor the project implementation, installation and maintenance works on Medium Voltage (MV: Up to 42kV) cable systems and electrical transformer / switchgear connection equipment on site.
 
The course methodology emphasize on theory, demonstration and “hands-on” training conducted by experienced and certified trainers.  The well-equipped training facilities would enhanced the learning experience. The well designed training structure will guide and highlight to the participants the subject on critical phase in cable preparation to the complete cable accessories assembly and installation This is further enhanced with cable testing to ensure that the completed  installation comply to the required standard.
Objective:
*                  State the MV cable components and it’s functions
*                  Able to correlate the cable design and construction parameters
*                  Identify the types of screen bonding
*                  Describe the Do’s and Don’ts during cable handling
*                  Describe the  lesson learned from case studies
*                  Perform material check with reference to Bill Of Material
*                  Recognise the tools and equipment required to perform task
*                  Interpret the assembly and installation instructions
*                  Participate in cable preparation
*                  Participate in cable assembly and installation

Overview:
This course is primarily designed to provide the necessary technical knowledge, skills and attitude required to effectively install Medium Voltage (MV: Up to 42kV) cable systems and electrical transformer / switchgear connection equipment on site. During the course the participants will be trained and evaluated by experienced and qualified trainers. Upon successful completion of this course, the participants will be awarded with the Certificate of Medium Voltage GIS Cable Installation from PFISTERER, Germany (OEM).
The course methodology emphasized on theory, practice and “hands-on” training at ILSAS where the training facility is well equipped and certified by OEM.  The conducive training environment, integrated with well-designed training structure (module) will facilitate training and coach participants to achieve the objective and learning experience. Participants are highlighted to the subject on critical phase in cable preparation to the complete cable accessories assembly and installation This is further enhanced with cable testing to ensure that the installation comply to the required standards.

Overview:
Dengan menggunakan kabel bertebat diudara berserta dengan bahan-bahan aksesori yang bertebat sepenuhnya memberi kelebihan dari segi keselamatan terhadap pekerja-pekerja semasa menjalankan kerja dan orang awam yang mungkin menyentuh kabel tersebut.
Pekerja kontraktor perlu dilengkapkan dengan kemahiran kerja yang tinggi agar dapat melaksanakan kerja berkaitan talian atas voltan rendah dengan berkesan, mengikut garis panduan dan spesifikasi ditetapkan seterusnya berhasil mewujudkan pepasangan yang berdaya harap serta mampu bertahan untuk jangkamasa mengikut perancangan.
Kursus ini dijalankan bagi mencapai objektif yang digariskan selari dengan hasrat TNB untuk memastikan bekalan kepada pengguna dapat disalurkan dengan efektif dengan gangguan yang sangat minima justeru mampu meningkatkan imej TNB dikalangan masyarakat.
Objective:
Setelah tamat kursus ini, peserta-peserta akan dapat:

  • Mengenalpasti kabel bertebat di udara voltan rendah berserta dengan segala keperluan bahan-bahan pepasangan kabel tersebut.
  •  Merancang dan mengimplementasikan pemasangan talian atas yang menggunakan kabel bertebat di udara mengikut spesifikasi TNB. 
  • Mengaplikasi peraturan keselamatan bekerja pada talian atas voltan rendah berpandukan kepada panduan keselamatan TNB.
Kandungan Kursus:
  • Penerangan berkaitan ’TNB Towards Customer Satisfaction’.
  • Pengenalan talian atas voltan rendah:
    • Talian atas voltan rendah pengalir tak bertebat.
    • Tiang spun konkrit.
    • Pepasangan umbang, fius, penangkap kilat.
    • Pepasangan sesalur/bekalan/servis.
  • Asas Aturan Keselamatan Elektrik TNB:
    • Definisi-definisi istilah.
    • Menghuraikan akibat dari kejutan elektrik.
    • Langkah keselamatan kerja pada talian atas voltan rendah.
    • KPD – tali pinggang keselamatan, topi, tangga, tali.
    • LSR – Life Saving Rules
    • Hazard Identification Risk Asssessment and Determining Control (HIRADC)
  • Kajian Kes Kemalangan.
  • Demonstrasi & amali penggunaan tangga.
  • Demonstrasi ikatan dan simpulan tali.
  • Binaan dan rekabentuk kabel bertebat di udara voltan rendah:
    •  Rekabentuk keseluruhan, saiz–saiz kabel.
    •  Pengenalan pengalir fasa, dawai penggantung / neutral.
  • Data-data teknikal kabel bertebat diudara:
    • Ciri-ciri fizikal kabel.
    • Kadar membawa arus.
